About The Studio



Director Monique Bastin has been dancing since the age of six and performing in musical theatre since the age of ten. In 2006 Monique was accepted into Brent St Studios Fulltime Performing Arts. She spent the next two years studying with the best performers and choreographers from both Australia and around the world in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, tap, singing, drama and musical theatre.

During her time at Brent St, Monique was fortunate enough to perform in video clips for Steph Macintosh, Guy Sebastian, GirlBand and The Young Divas. She graduated in December 2007 with a Certificate IV in Performing Arts.

Since then Monique has performed in Shire Music Theatre's Australian Premier of Aida and in Rockdale Musical Society's Singing in the Rain. As well as working as a children's performer and event hostess at events around Sydney and NSW.
